update: TextMate Wins!

It’s official. Though TextMate is as quirky as anyone’s wierd uncle, it is now my editor of choice. I still have a soft spot for TextWrangler, and if Xcode ever gets real, Apple supported code completion and features for languages like PHP and Ruby and whatnot, then Xcode will get the love. It’s really too bad that Xcode, as nice as it is, isn’t more versatile, or at least more open in minimal ways to allow users to adapt it to be more versatile.
